How to get the most out of it
- Frames are saved as PNG, so there is no quality loss. If the GIF has a transparent background, the transparency is kept.
- Need just one frame? Save it from the preview. Need all of them? Use 'Download All Frames'.
- To turn edited frames back into an animation, upload the PNGs to Images to GIF.
Good to know
- A GIF with many frames produces just as many PNG files. If you only want to change a few frames, Frame Editor is more convenient.
- Many GIFs store only the part of the image that changes in each frame. This tool rebuilds every frame as a complete image before exporting it.
